| Ken Shamrock in the WWE?
Source: Figure4 Newsletter
Vince McMahon was said to be "freaked out" after last week's "Ortiz vs. Shamrock 3" UFC special on SpikeTV drew a 3.1 overall rating and a 4.3 for the final quarter hour featuring the actual Ortiz vs. Shamrock fight. Vince went as far as to tell his writers to start coming up for ideas for Shamrock if they brought him in to WWE.
Supoosedly Paul Heyman had to explain to Vince that the UFC special's huge rating wasn't drawn just by Ken Shamrock, but that it was the whole Ortiz vs. Shamrock rivalry dating back years.
As of now, there's no word on whether the two sides are talking yet but WWE, namely Vince McMahon, is interested in the 41 year old "World's Most Dangerous Man". Shamrock is a former WWE superstar and Intercontinental champion who worked with the company during the Attitude era.
If you don't like pro wrestling you don't have to comment. I just wanted to let everyone know that Vince McMahon is nervous about the UFC.

Ortiz was a bigger part in the ratings than Shamrock was. And people want to watch these guys fight, they don't want to watch them speak on the mic and be in the spotlight.
McMahon should come up some more great ideas like the XFL and stay away from the MMA game.

The only reason that UFC event was such a draw was because it was free. It would still have the same draw if it was Chuck vs Randy again.

Hell why not go back to the WWE. Ken would benefit by making real good money.

Vince McMahon's past projects have included the WBF 'World Bodybuilding Federation' and the XFL. Both were failures. Hell the guy had himself winning the Royal Rumble in '99.
Did you know what McMahon attempted to do in order to compete with the Shamrock/Ortiz 3 Spike special? He put on a major 3 hour WWE Raw the night prior, and then had a live WWE diva strip poker game contending with the Shamrock/Ortiz 3 event. It drew peanuts. Apparently nobody cares about seeing some female valets and wrestlers taking off their clothes in a poker game on WWE edited television. Hopefully that's a message to McMahon that women on tv with little clothing doesn't draw big ratings anymore.
