Default Rampage V Shogun Was To Be Scheduled For November
Dana White has come out and publicly stated that he wants Cung Le in the UFC. Le currently has one fight remaining on his Strikeforce contract.

-The UFC was interested in booking Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs. Shogun Rua for the November PPV currently scheduled to be held in Portland, Oregon. However Rua won't be ready for action until December due to knee surgery. Rampage could still be booked for the show if the UFC can find another top-tier opponent.

I hope they don't scrap this fight just because of the one month wait time for Shogun to be ready. Make this happen in december.

It'd also be interesting to see Le in the UFC.

UMMM I swore Le has stated he has 3 or 4 fights left on his contract, not 1.

Yeah Im pretty sure I read that somewhere as well.

As for Rampage and Shogun, I hope they both take all the time they need to get 100% ready to fight. Shogun with the knee injury and Rampage with...well whatever it is. No need to rush back.

While I remember reading he had like 3-4 fights left I wouldn't be surprised if there was an opt out clause in the Strikeforce contract after a certain number of fights and that is probably what Dana is referring to.

Yeah on Dana's blog Rampage says that hes with new trainers he has not mentioned who yet I think and he been training again but with all the circumstances I think he should take his time back and wait for December especially because I'm planning to go to that show and it would be sick if all the rumours for this UFC event come to form.
