If he beat Kongo and Carwin that would be 3 top ten HWs int he UFc in a row...tell me exactly what warrants a title shot, and who the fuck would deserve it over Lesnar if he did that?
With Lesnars marketability get used to him in the main event,he is gonna be around for awhile sunshine.

Exactly. Cain's wrestling is very good, his striking seems to be coming along an from what his coaches say he has a very solid ground game.
The way he tooled Jake was awesome.
Up next for Cain is Hardonk.
Imo Cain will smash Hardonk, but if Cain stands with him he could lose.
I like how they are brining along Cain though, no cans, but not exactly top fighters either.

Given the weakness of the UFC HW division it seems a tad pointless to rank anything beyond top 5. JMO

Man, i just cant wait until the UFC pits Shane Carwin against Cain Velasquez that will be a phenomenal match-up.

All of them are going to be built to be big contenders, and stars. Because lets face it the UFC hw division is weak.
Out of all 3 i believe Cain will end up being the best an having the best career. He is the youngest, has great wrestling, not as good as Brocks but its better then Carwins. He has been training in kickboxing, boxing, MT, for his stand up for a while now. Well i believe his camp said he was training in those things long before he started fighting. He already has a better ground game then Lesnar, which puts him a head imo because Lesnar is learning so late.
Anyway enough kissing Cains ass lol.
But i don't see them fighting each other for a while. I see Cain and Carwin getting fed people they can beat, with each next fight being a small step up until they either lose or fight for the belt.
Lesnar will most likely face Kongo next, an Lesnar is just going to keep fighting the top end of the guys until he loses again or becomes champion.
But UFC needs stars, an these guys can def give them that for their HW division.
Sorry for the rant

Carwin's just as good of a wrestler as Brock is and I think he's finished off everyone he's fought so far. I think Lesnar/Carwin would be a tough match and I'd actually pick Carwin by choke or armbar.
What's funny about the rankings is the immense gap between #1 and #2. Werdum's a good fighter and I do think he's the 2nd best HW in the UFC right now, but he's not on Big Nog's level.

This is sad.
They had 7 or 8 top 10 guys at one point last year and a few of the top 15 guys, some of which are on this list. To think anyone can make this a top 10 list is unreal. Now two of the guys on this list have 3 fights under their belt... 3 fights, and in a top 10 list... crazy.
Remember the middle of last summer when the division looked like this; Randy, Arlovski, Sylvia, Cro Cop were all still there. Brandon Vera was still undefeated and about to make his comeback. Brock Lesnar was about to be signed. Fedor was still up in the air. What 12/13 months can do is insane lol |
Dana should be embarassed with this.
Brock Lesnar has 2 fights, and is 1-1 and is #5?! hahahaha
Shane Carwin in the top 10 at 1-0?!
What kind of a division is this?

I am happy Lesnar is doing well. I think there is a little to much hype surrounding him at this point. I personally do not think he beats Carwin at this point. but thats JMO

If was to write a top 10 list of UFC heavyweights, I would have had Nog at 1, Werdum at 2, then stumped at 3 for an hour and just said to hell with it.
