And I think that your claim that the UFC is going to start putting on shitty shows because of a lack of competition is very flawed. People are always going to spend more on good shows, so they have plenty of motivation to put on good shows independent of competition.

I just think people dont want these other orgs to fail because they want the fighters to have options. As a fan you want options. Dont get me wrong I love the UFC, but I also loved PRIDE. I even loved PRIDE more so not because I loved the Japanese antics, but I believe the rules in PRIDE were better for MMA.

if they could land Randy vs Fedor, and tito vs ? maybe lil nog? or even a fight with frank smamrock, or any other big name fighters they could bank in big time, i was just thinking the other night, i know Randy cant fight in the states BUT what if it was in japan??? could affliction and dream co promote a fight with randy and fedor over there?? i know he cant fight in the states but can he in japan?? this could be the fight to save dream and affliction

Holy Christ that is low for an Afflication shirt. it mus be one of the sleeveless ones, cause the sleeved ones require a mortgage on your house and God forbid you want a long sleeve shirt. They just show up at your house with 17 employees and an extra big bottle of Astroglide.

Randy is all about the money (or so it seems, remember he wants 6 to 10 mil for him and Fedor to have this fight) so that fight would KILL DREAM and Affliction.

About having the fight in Japan, Randy would be a poor poor man when the UFC was done with him for breach of contract and all of that stuff.

As a fan, my only interest in this fight would be to see randy get destroyed. He is not the 2nd best HW because he beat Timmay and GG. I'm sorry, one top 5 (at the time) and one person who was considered in the top 10 only because he KO'ed CC. If Randy fought and beat Nog then I would give him credit at #2 but not now. Especially not now considering he hasnt fought in a year or almost a year.

Effectively Meltzer doesn't have enough of a source to get the exact numbers but he probably has a source to get the numbers for a certain region or for satellite or something like that and then extrapolates the number out to the esimate.

With what Tito and Randy seem to be asking anymore, you would need 2 million ppv buys just to pay them lol

Why does everyone throw out this idea that the contract would only hold in the US, especially involving a company that does business in the US.

Any companies that knowingly put on an event with Randy that was in breach of his contract would end up belonging to Zuffa before everything was over.
