Here's an example for you. I drove 4 hours to a Slipknot concert once. Lamb of God, Atreyu and Shadow's Fall were also on the tour and each did a nearly one hour set. By the time Slipknot came on, I was dog tired from the drive and the wait. We watched 5 songs and then left early to beat traffic and to get out of there. It wasn't because we thought Slipknot was boring but after all that, you do get kind of bored and tired.
Just because Hughes says one thing, that doesn't automatically mean he means it like people take it. I have a pretty dry sense of humor at times and I say stuff that people misinterpret. I'm not saying Hughes didn't mean what he said but he has the right to get bored and leave if he wants to.
