Its kind of hard for me to believe that he will be playing for free though. I mean Ozzy is super famous and he's rich as hell too. I just dont see him working for free

In turn, Ozzy has to do certain things such as wear their clothes out in public, make appearances, that sort of thing. Him performing 3 songs at one of their events would constitute not only him wearing their clothes out in public, but him making an apperance for them.

So far, for the people that like metal (myself and a large handful of others on this board), having these bands play has been good. The problem comes up the first time they have a rap act perform. trust me, as this thing goes on, it will happen.
It will piss me off and make me less likely to get a show if I am on the fence about it already.
If the acts are playing for free (not likely) or as fulfilling a sponsored obligation (probably the case) then other than disliking the music, no one should really complain. If they are taking money for these appearances, that is a crime to the undercard fighters that could use an extra $10000.
On a side note...Metal Sanaz is unbelievably hot. She is definitely not for everyone, but sign me up!

They would either have to bargain it out to count for a bunch of appearances (since it is more work) or pay him. Quote:

Realistically you are alienating fans since the common thread is MMA, not musical taste.

I get it, I get it...great minds think alike...blah blah blah....
Seriously, there will come a time when this is going to bite them in the ass. People will ignore the music while they are putting on supercards, but once they run out of "oh-my-god-I'm-having-an-orgasm" quality matches, people will start wondering to themselves if the card is really worth spending $45 and having to listen to Celine Dion for three songs?

Another thing to remember is Ozzy is also promote a relatively recent cd and in this case, it would be similar to performing on a late night talk show. He's only doing 3 songs and they aren't back to back to back so it's not like he's doing a full blown concert.
