Lyoto seems pretty much dead on here. He knows that Thiago will come forward, and as we have seen in his previous fights, that is when Machida is the most deadly. I like Thiago because he has an aggressive style, but that style feeds right into Machida's game plan. It would be nice to see the upset, just because they are always more, fun, but I think Machida will be the one walking away undefeated. Hopefully he finishes the fight, because that would go a long way in getting him a title shot.

We'll see if that happens once he gets in the cage. I'm a fan of the Dragon but he might want to stay with the old stick and move stragey for this fight.

if Thiago even wants a chance of winning, he has to use his clinch game. If not, he's getting outpointed.

nobody wants to watch machida fight. hes boring. ufc wont make him face a real striker yet because they know hell lose. theyll try to buildem up and then someone like rampage, henderson, or lidell knocks him OUT! he wont be a main PPV fighter for long with his so-called style. ofcourse theyre making chris leben a head-liner with the britain so who knows. ufc's getting kind of lame.

I agree with Machida 100%
I think he will finish this fight in the second round by tko.
some of us have been saying this same exact thing on this message board since the fight was announced. Thiago's aggressive style is going to play right into Machida's strategy. Machida is going to have more openings to exploit and imo will be able to finish him because of that

i don't like machida. one day he's going to find an opponent that copies his style, and they are going to make him pay. thiago silva is not that opponent though.
