He quit because of a neck injury so I'm guessing he can't come back in case he damages it again or makes it worse.

Sudo getting stabbed in public reminds me how the innocent and good go through the greatest hardships to test them. He seems like the type that knows what's right and makes good decisions on his own without outside influence so I guess you just have to repect his decision on retiring. It's Barry Sanders all over again.

Genki is one of my favorite Japanese fighters up there with Sakuraba.... Hell not Japanese fighters, but fighters period. The dude displays the sport of MMA quite well. I really feel sorry about PRIDES demise. It's depressing.

Genki is, as everyone said, a great guy and a class act.
I agree and disagree with Genki. I agree that Aoki would wow the American audience with his BJJ... in fact, it might even be a way to get the audience into liking/understanding how amazing the grappling part of the game is..
I disagree that Gomi wouldn't fit in because there are those who share a similar style (which I don't necessarily agree with either). Not to many LWs in the UFC share his power by any means and he'd be good for the division. The guy has dynamite in his hands and is a great fighter all around. He is very exciting to watch. An exciting fighter can work anywhere...
