Default Frank Mir

So Frank's fighting Dan Christison at UFC 61 eh?

For the record (and anyone who's read some of my earlier posts will confirm!) I can't stand the guy. He's an egotistical asshole, however I am quite glad he's back.

With the state of the UFC HW division at the moment they/we need some big name & good fighters & Franks return can only be good for the game.

Christison is a former TUF2 fighter, so I'm gathering that they are easing Frank in a bit gentler with this fight, although at 6.8 & 270lbs I'm sure it won't be a walk in the park for him.

Let's hope Mir's a lot better prepared this time around.

(Man that was hard, I think I'm gonna be sick!)

mir already made is return and got destroyed by pe de pano. i think he has problems with dan because dan is a huge guy and if mir is out of shape he could be in trouble again.

Mir did get his ass handed to him but i would charge it to ring rust. Dana needs to break bread and get some Pride HW to make the division worth watching.

Frank Mir will be fine....give him a year and he'll be Champ again....the last fight he was a victim of a nasty cut.....I still think, if not for the cut he would've ended up winning that fight.

No chance.

Pe De peno kicked his ass from start to finish. I agree he will be back to how he was soon & I hope he does, but unless he grows some nads & keeps battling in a fight that he's not dominating he will be an also-ran. But a good also-ran!

Mir has a tough time with overly big guys. He had a very hard time with Simms and barely got the knockout and look what Pe de Pano did to him. Dan is a hitter and will hurt Mir if he tries to keep it standing. Mir has a tough time closing the distance and he eats alot of punches doing it. Also, he better be in 3/5 minute round shape. I don't know, I smell an upset.
