This cards looking insane thus far. | i just think its silly that everyone thinks that a man who's been plagued with injuries over the last few years is gunna come in with over a year off and wipe the floor with the former champion. this isnt Pride anymore...and to think Shogun will devastate Rampage like he did before is silly. i hope Rampage is the underdog because i will lay down some bucks for it!
and even though this fight is not officially confirmed, ill take Rampage for a MONTH LONG AV bet! any takers?

Whoah, whoah - You, sir, are also forgetting that RAMPAGE is coming off some traumatic shit. Not to mention the parting ways with the one coach he's known the last couple of years.
Just adds to the whole story, if you ask me. All the more reason I want to see this shit happen. God, I hope it goes down.

I think the rampage should fight Houston Alexander (this would be exciting too)...his mindset today, fighting Shogun is a bad idea.
This will be two in a row for Mauricio.

Rampage is my fav LHW fighter, how am i gunna just neglect all that has happened to him. thing is Rampage has been in good spirits lately and from what he's said, seems motivated to get back into training...and the fact he's always wanted to get revenge on Shogun makes this fight that much more intruiging.
we have no idea where Rampage's legal issues will be standing by then anyways, and if he'll even be able to fight. but if this fight happens, Rampage will win!

I should be excited about this, but I'm kinda woried, if Shogun looses twice where does that put him. Same goes for rampage, and who knows where he's at with his personal life. I wanna see these to fighters fight for a long time in the ufc.

I don't think this fight will go anything like their first fight. Rampage is a much better fighter now. I think it'll be sooo close. I just want Shogun to come back in a winning fashion... it just sucks big time that it has to be against Rampage.

I've said it a lot lately, the matchmaking hasn't been making much sense recently.

A great superfight. I love both guys, and of course I'll hate to see one of them lose - But I'll love to watch. Can't wait. Fuck, I hope this happens. Hope it's slipped into that New Year's card and nothing jinx's it.
AHHh!!!! |
Probelm is the fight won't be as good as it could be. Both likely won't be at the top of their game for the time of the fight. to me this is just the ufc trying to capitalize on their names right now and likely buring one of them in the process. Rather than building each fighter up again, and than have them fight each other or fight others.
i am more concerned about Rampage at this point than Shogun. Rampage's legal troubles will likely affect his mind in training and in the fight. Personally i don't think he should be coming back this quick, sense it was only a couple of months ago that people were wondering where his head is at and i have a hard time believeing he would be coming into this fight even in decemeber fully prepared.
