They both have a good chance in this fight. If rampage comes in with sharp boxing and keeps it standing, i think he can out muscle shogun when he clinches and work his shots. However, if shogun happens to score a takedown on Rampage, not the easiest thing to do, expect it to be a tough night for Rampage. While i do have faith in Shoguns Muay Thai, Rampages boxing has been looking very impressive. This fight just basically comes down to who's in better physical shape, and whos in better mental shape. Can't wait to see the fight and hoepfully they're both 100%

I don't like this fight for either fighter. I don't think that either one of them can afford a lost, but so is the nature of the beast. The only way each one of them can come out smelling like roses is if it is an absolute war unlike the first time they fought. It will be interesting to find out who Rampage is training with and how they will gameplan for Shogun. At the end of the day, I still have to go with my boy, Rampage. War Page!!

I dont want this fight happen for selfish reasons BUT when its two top guys fighting, usually everyone is all for this type of throwdown. This time though its two well liked fighters and no one really wants to see either lose....that being said i gotta geaux with Shogun, but id rather see Rampage/Vera and Shogun/Jardine.

I've thought a bout it a little more and this may be a little different than the LW scenario, they may not know how much each fighters got left and if one of them loses badly, they generate revenue for the other. My guess is Shogun is the ?, but a loss to him would look better than a loss to Jardine or Vera.

I know it looks highly unlikely, but I would love to see a Lidell/Wandy rematch.

I think Shogun would take it,in pretty devastating fashion, but not as easily or as quickly as he did in their previous fight. Rampage is a much smarter fighter now,and his strikings improved a ton.
This cards looking insane thus far. | Not only is Jackson smarter, but he has had more time to ajust to the UFC and its rules. I dont think Shogun has had enough time in the Cage to get use to the no soccer kick kind of rules. I say rampage by KO.
Guess im crazy.

It sucks whenever there are 2 guys fighting and you don't want either to lose. Both have had disappointing losses to the same guy and to come back and lose again.. damn. Well, at least Rampage gets a chance at avenging one of the few losses he had in PRIDE.
I guess part of me wishes this fight will happen just due to that alone, but either way, I think it'll be an amazing fight that a lot of people have been waiting for.

I'd rather see Rampage against Jardine and Vera/Shogun. Shogun vs Vera would be a good MT battle which I see shogun coming out on top. His aggressive MT skills is a lot to handle... hopefully he comes with the same fire he had in pride.
