Rampage Rides ‘Midnight Meat Train’

Now that the recent UFC media blitz has reassured us all that Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is 100 percent, completely sane and totally not even a little bit crazy, I feel like its safe to mention this. Has anyone else noticed that Rampage has a small part in a new horror flick called “Midnight Meat Train?”
No, really, he does.
The movie is directed by Japan’s Ryuhei Kitamura, who has turned out a string of lesser known action/fright movies over the last decade, and is based on the Clive Barker short story of the same ridiculous name. It stars a loose collection of actors you might expect in this kind of fare – one of the dudes from “Nip/Tuck,” Brooke Shields, Vinnie Jones – but a little bit further down the cast list you’ll find Jackson credited as playing a character called only “Guardian Angel.”
From the looks of the beret, we’re talking more along the lines of street vigilante Guardian Angel, not mythical biblical do-gooder.
Rampage’s face is even visible for a fraction of a second in the trailer, where it looks like he’s probably about to meet his demise at the hand of whatever sinister ghoul or mad butcher prowls the midnight meat train. I’m sure Rampage would crack wise over the premise of a black guy getting killed in a horror flick, but I’m going to skip that part.
The IMDB.com plot synopsis for “Midnight Meat Train” colorfully describes it as: “A New York photographer hunts down a serial killer.” Sounds original.
The movie dropped ten days ago, apparently in limited release, at various budget $1 and $2 theatres. Now rumors have it bound for immediate DVD release, which actually isn’t that uncommon for movies that aren’t considered “mainstream” by their respective studios, in this case Lions Gate Films.
No word yet if Rampage’s performance will rival that of Randy Couture’s in “The Scorpion King 2.” Just for the record, Rampage has three more upcoming movies listed on his IMDB.com page: “Duel of Legends,” “Bad Guys,” and “Death Warrior.”
“Midnight Meat Train” is rated R for sequences of strong bloody gruesome violence, grisly images involving nudity, sexual content and language. So, who knows, maybe it’s worth a buck after all.

I've seen several trailers for this movie and I gotta admit it doesnt look half bad. Ill give it a shot. Cant be any worse than that Scopion King 2 garbage.

It actually got decent reviews when it came out.Should be on DVD within the next 2 months.

I know. When i read the title i was like, damn, what else did Rampage do when he went loco. i bet he'll have some funny lines in the movie.
