MMA isn't just about headshots though and their recuperating time after a fight is long (usually 3 months in UFC). In wrestling, you get hit by steel chairs a few times a week... I think those add up way worse long-term than MMA or even boxing.

They checked out Benoit's brain after his whole incident and they said it resembled that of an alzheimer's patient.

I think the hitman is a little harsh on it because of the way a real kick ended his career, leading to his concussion.

While Brett hart was one of my favorite wrestlers i don't care much for his opinion on a sport I'm sure he knows very little about.

Undertaker > Bret Hart.

He does have a point. Besides Owen Hart, I don't think any Pro rassler died from injuries due to wrestling. It's all happend out of the ring.

Not to say that there are many permanent injuries in MMA but I would assume there would be more do to the fact that there is blunt trama to the head that over time can leve some fighters punch drunk or dead.

There has to be some angst in mma taking over wrestling's market. I also respect him and he has been a class act but speaking about mma like that shows his ignorance and the ignorant shouldn't really open their mouths.

How about wrestlers being injured, even paralyzed? The clip of Japan's Hayabusa breaking his neck on an Asai moonsault is all over the Internet if you hate your senses enough to watch.

It's probably just me, but this guy's statement sounded very close to a closet homosexual.

It's kinda funny he uses his match against Steve Austin as an example of pretend fighting. Didn't he nearly fucking paralyze Austin with a piledriver in that fight? In fact that injury is still with Austin, thats why he had to retire. He can shut his fucking mouth about safety.
