I think this could be a good move for Affliction. NASCAR is virtually an untapped market by MMA, so it'll be interesting to see if they gain any viewership from it. I would venture to say that NASCAR and MMA have many of the same fans.

It's definitely better than their marketing for Banned which was basically nothing.

Isn't there enough rednecks fighters in MMA?, now they want the fans too, well I guess if it sell some PPV's.

Well if NASCAR fans think watching a car go around in circles for hour hours on end, if they think that is exciting wait till they see some fighting with 4oz gloves.
Though I think if it does go over really well with the Raging Rednecks we will see some new members around here, probably hating on the ground game calling it gay.

I don't think it's going to be so great. Michael Waltrip Racing isn't even in the top 35 in points, and michael usually finishes 32nd or worse. You don't even hear his name in the race anymore.

None of his drivers EVER win.

The key to NASCAR advertising is getting the car TV time that has the ad. That's not going to happen with Waltrip or any of his cars
