| Randy Couture Considering 3 Fight Contract Quote:
Randy Couture is on the verge of agreeing to a new contract with the UFC that will see him make his return to the Octagon at UFC 91 on November 15th against Brock Lesnar. As part of this new agreement, Couture has been offered a new three-fight deal with the UFC, thus terminating his old contract that had two fights remaining on it.
If all goes well over the weekend, multiple sources have informed us that the UFC is hoping to make this announcement on Tuesday.

Cotoure looks like he's in pretty good shape for an old guy. Hope he signs this new 3 deal contract, the UFC needs him badly in the HW division.

If this is true what an about face on Randy Part.
He's stated before he has 1 fight left in him and he only wants to fight Fedor and that he wasn't going back to the UFC.
Hope its true but damn Randy make up your F&$king mind.

Hold the phone. Now the only way this happens is if Dana either signs Fedor (which didnt Fedor just sign an extention with Affliction?), or Dana engages in a crossbrand promotion with Affliction. Im skeptical guys, as I would think most of us will be. A guy can only be dick-teased so much. I'd say the general consensus is "I'll believe it when I see it".
Sign a damn contract already!!! |

IF he resigns with the UFC. That just makes the last year or so he's wasted, seem that much more pointless.
As far as whether or not he'll be successful upon his return, I think there are people out there that have bet against him in the past, that are still tryin to settle up with their bookie. Just sayin. =)

This was a war couture knew he would not win.
If he realistically had a shot of "resigning" from a contract he would already be signed with affliction for fight against Fedor.
Try calling up your cell phone provider and tell them that your resigning from your contract, they will laugh, tell you when your payment is due and hang up on you.

Dam Randy your one of my favorite fighters but where the hell has your brain been the last year?? This is a win win for the UFC. If the UFC makes those 3 fights happen then Randy probably goes 0-3 or 1-2 and the UFC makes huge money off him. Then you get to hear Dana White say I told you so.

Sign a damn contract already!!! | Yeah he did, but I'm pretty certain that his contract with Affliction is non-exclusive. And as long as Randy isn't the champion, I don't see Dana having as big a problem letting him fight Fedor (who they could sign for a one-fight deal) in the UFC.
