| Couture considering a three YEAR deal with UFC Source Quote:
As we previously reported. Randy Couture had been offered and was considering a three-fight contract with the UFC. MMARated.com then reported over the weekend that a three fight extension was on the verge of being agreed to which would see the popular UFC champion return in a fight against Brock Lesnar at UFC 91 on Nov. 15.
Fightline.com was able to confirm the information with multiple sources today and we're being told that Couture was adamant that the UFC make a fight with world consensus number one heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko. The UFC has apparently agreed to seriously consider a co-promotion with M-1 Global/Affliction, but wants Couture to face Brock Lesnar at UFC 91 first.
Specific proposed contract details are unavailable at this time, but we're being told that the deal on offer is extremely generous.
We'll have more on this breaking story as details emerge.

Three fight or three year?
Either way, I'm considering a lot of things right now; it doesn't mean I'm going to act on any of them.

I hope everyone keeps in mind that Couture's...I mean, it's not like he HASN'T aged since he last fought, you know? The guy is a year out since he started this fiasco.
In any case, I'll believe it when I see it.

My guess is that Dana says he'll co-promote with M-1/Affliction on the condition he beats Lesnar to warrant a shot with Fedor. And I think Dana is assuming Randy will lose and thus not have to worry about any co-promotion.
Either way with all these tons of Randy rumors I'm not going to hold my breath until I see Randy in the ring.

3 fight deal
Lesar
Nog/Mir
Fedor
But for Fedor you must beat 1 an 2 and if you lose one you fight a 3rd fighter or our choosing.

Since when did Randy Couture become such a drama queen, every other day it's Randy this, Randy that. Enough with the shenanigans already!

If this rumor is true, one of the reasons UFC may be looking to co-promote is to hurt Affliction (I'm assuming). Hopefully all these rumors will turn out to be true so we can see some cool "super-fights".
