Its very strange..

At least Couture doesn't have to hide when he corners his fighters anymore. This is really good news for all of mma though. If only this could've been resolved earlier.

This is huge for the UFC. They couldn't let Randy split out and join Affliction.
I can see Dana now, "Randy Cotoure is the best heavyweight in the world, he would destroy Fedor!"
But seriously this is a good sign that the HW division won't go to shit. They replaced AA and Tim with Cain, Lesnar and Carwin who are 3 big prospects.
I Hope Cro Cop returns soon, that would help out too

Three fights...does anyone think they might give him a easy match as an introduction to all the new fans over the past year and how about Verdum? It's gonna be interesting but I'm sure Dana and Joe Silva will make shit happen. They always have and are only getting better. Couture and Liddell back? What's next Tito?
If they hold up Couture can put on a great New Years Eve show and I am Nostradamusizing but I see, if they do cross promote , UFC 100 Couture vs. Fedor.

But seriously one thing to think about is what happens if Couture loses against lesnar?
do we throw the idea of Fedor/Couture out the window? Does that match still garner interest? Or will it be shifted to Fedor/Lesnar?
this for sure will make an interesting fall/winter.

What does this say about Lesnar? His first 3 fights in the UFC were against: Mir, Herring and now Couture.
I've always been a fan of his, but nobody who doubted Lesnar (or for that matter, STILL doubts) can deny the guy isn't afraid to put it on the line and face top tier opponents.
