Argh!!!!!!
I demand 10% of my ticket price back.
I really thought 24 hours before the event started with no reported injuries I'd be in the clear. Anyone suspect he's been hurt for a while and just thought he'd be able to wing it? If so that really sucks because obviously this scenario leaves no time at all to make another fight.

My guess Thiago Tavares vs. Kurt Pellegrino will be upgraded to main card

Damn this is disappointing...this was one of the bouts I was most looking forward to tomorrow night, if only to get to see more of Yoshida.
And in Karos defense, sure he probably wasn't training hard a day before the fight, but it could be something he injured a week ago that he was hoping would be healed enough for him to fight tomorrow...he waited until to today and he hasn't recovered enough so he had to back out.

I think it's hilarious people are all pissed at Karo for getting hurt and backing out, but not having the same hate on for Silva pulling out. So hypocritical.

You can watch the video of him at the UFC press conference yesterday too: UFC® : Ultimate Fighting Championship®
He doesn't mention any problem. So either this back injury happened in the last 24 hours, or something else is going on.

Or just maybe he just was too heavy and knew he wasn't gonna make wight so he came up with an excuse.
Where's the doctor note? and not a note from Dr. Nick Rivera.
Dana must be fuming, who's hard training the day before the weigh ins?

So hypocritical. | Some people just don't like Karo, but I think this has more to do with pulling out hours before the weigh-ins with a vague injury that apparently wasn't even a factor yesterday. It just seems like a bush league move IMO. I'll eat my words if he really is hurt, but it all looks so fishy.

Not piling on the guy, but this sounds like he's still not ready mentally and decided to pull out of the fight last minute--he's sure as shit not going to cite that as a reason, thus the injury excuse. And I'm not ripping the guy, but like others have said, the last day or two isn't the hard training. That sucks.
