|  pride vs world series
Why would Pride schedule their 1st U.S show up against the World Series? People are fans of both. A Friday night show in Vegas would have been bigger in my opinion.
P.S I'm getting sick of the UFC and Dana White.....scheduling their ''knockout'' show the same time as Pride.

You see the same sort of things happen between major tv stations such as ABC, NBC, and CBS where they put shows from one station against shows from another. Trust me, Dana White didn't come up with this overnight. Oh, by the way, the world series is on tonight??? Must have forgot about this since I've been getting ready for the Pride PPV!! I really don't think the world series will affect the PPV buys much at all

There is only so many dates in October that they can book a show for. UFC had a PPV last weekend, so wouldn't have been a good idea to it do last weekened. Next weekend there might be a world series game also. There is always going to be something else going on, you can't avoid booking your events on days where nothing else is going on at all.
But yeah the world series being on definitely will limit the amount of sports bars airing the event.
And it is only business for UFC to counter program. If Pride can't get people to order a PPV instead of KO clips then they shouldn't be doing shows in the U.S.

Fights are always done on a SATURDAY, the WS today means nothing.

Baseball sucks ass anyway. We all know Americas true sport is Football 
Than Basketball after that Boxing and Nascar and somewhere in there there is Wrestling , MMA and GolF hahah

I found a bar that is going to air the Pride FC pay-per-view tonight...i had to call and ask to make sure they was going to instead of showing the world series...the guy on the phone says..."we got 10 tv's in this place...i'm sure at least 2 or 3 will have the WS"...so i'm sure most places aren't gonna lose too much if they show the pay-per-veiw...now trying to convience my Girlfriend to get a babysitter or let me go...haha if not i guess i'll be reading the results on here  | |
