| Karo told Chonnan he was in good shape 1 day before cancelling Chonan is ready
Ryo Chonan updated his blog on Sep05. Quote:
I passed a weigh in without any problem. I'm too excited to sleep tonight and decided to update my blog.
I'm surprised to hear about Yoshida. His opponent, Karo Parisyan, backed out at last minute. Karo said he was in the best shape when I talked to him yesterday. I wonder what happened to him. Yoshida's mom came here to see his fight all way from Japan and he had a hard time dieting for this fight. I'm sorry for him. Charged with a role as the only fighter who represents Japan, I'm going to have a great performance tomorrow.
| Kinda beginning to look more and more like personal or emotional issues rather than injury. Of course this is pure speculation on my part.

i feel bad about yoshida and his mom even more now after reading ^^. things like these put everything into perspective and remind us that there are families behind these fighters. i hope yoshida still gets his purse (as for e.g. alessio did after diego got ill for their first scheduled meeting).

With the cancellation so close to the fight and all.

if it comes to fruition that karo backed out because of mental issues the guy is a complete tool.
i gave him the benefit of the doubt that he was just a complete moron and injured himself, but now im not so sure.

Yeah this sucks for Yoshida, all that training and arranging for family to come over etc for nothing.

i REALLY REALLY want to know the true story behind this. If it is anything other than a serious physical injury, I would NEVER allow Karo to fight. There would be potential for something like this every time he is scheduled to fight.

Not going to judge Karo until I hear the story. I already don't think much of the guy, but I don't see the harm in waiting to hear his side. For all we know he got pushed down a flight of stairs or something.
Who knows. Hope it isn't something serious. Serious enough to postpone a fight, but you guys never know. I'll just wait and see.

I don't like Karo. I think he's a CHUMP!
After watching him visit "The Ultimate Fighter", his cousin Manny... Karo was acting like he's the shit. He was slapping other fighters around, as if he's their experienced coach/daddy.
After watching that episode... I think KARO is a prick... !!!
