| Werdum predicts Big Nog and Couture victories From TATAME: Quote: |
“Ultimate (UFC) thinks about business, and Lesnar is more famous in United States. I don’t know how they’ll do it, because my new contract guarantees a title shot with a victory against Cigano. They should have put Cigano, who is a newcomer in the event, to face Lesnar, who only has one fight in UFC. But that’s OK, I’ll win quickly my next fight and my time will come. Nogueira will certainly defeat Frank Mir and Couture will beat Lesnar. The ‘big’ Lesnar won’t make it, Couture will use a good strategy to get him tired and will win on the last round. I can’t see him winning, Couture has a lot more experience and Lesnar is like a white-belt there.”
|
I get the feeling he's feeling a little punked here. He really should be getting a shot before Lesnar IMO. Lol at the white belt reference, that's classic |

Nogueira will certainly beat Frank Mir? Why so?
All it takes is one submission to win a fight, and an expert like Frank Mir poses a major threat to Nogueira.
Like I said before, I disagree with this guy on the Brock/Couture fight. I feel that Lesnar is going to win it, but then lose to either Mir or Nogueira.

It's Brazilian love, of course he's going to pick Nog to win.

Brock is basically screwed though. If he beats Couture, he is getting sub'd in his next fight. | Exactly what I think. Mir is like a worm, I think Mir would sub Lesnar faster then Nogueira can sub him.

A lot of Randy's fights that he lost were to KO or TKO, like the one against Chuck Liddell. If this keeps up, especially against a guy like Lesnar, he will be knocked out easily. If they decide to stand, I wouldnt be surprised Randy loses via KO.

I think Randy's a little smarter than to stand and brawl with Lesnar. For his sake I hope so, because like you say, If not: Lights Out.

Nog can usually take a hit but that will be Mirs best chance not his bread and butter subs. IMO

I am willing to bet that Fabricio is aware that a submission would indeed end a fight.
Werdum has the best BJJ in the UFC heavyweight division, yet you feel the need to correct him when he says that Nog is going to beat Mir.
Mir isn't an expert at BJJ compared to Nog, hell he is a blue belt compared to Werdum. Guys like Nog, Monson, Fedor, and Barnett are better on the ground then Mir. Guys like Roger, Werdum, and Gonzaga are on a different level.
