i for one am glad to see how everyone has realized the fighters in the ufc have figured chuck out. i say this for the mere fact that if chuck and anderson were to battle and anderson were to be the victor, it would not be because of the spider being the "best", but merely be because of chuck's decline in the sport. anderson beating chuck would only add to the dispute of him being the best p4p fighter, a title which clearly belongs to fedor IMHO

What Chuck should be cuddled like a 8 year old boy who just lost his little league game? The guy's 38 years old and if he can't fight in the toughest sport there is, I think he can take some verbal jabs from Jim Rome.

And FYI Joe if you want MMA to become more mainstream and ESPN cover it more, well that means a hell of allot more criticisms of MMA fighters and their performances. MMA fighters are gonna have to grow thicken skin.

thats always been my thing with Jim Rome and hell even the way Dana communicate their thoughts. I mean its their first ammendment right and i'll defend to the death their right to say whatever they want . . BUT I never got why they have to use such a public forum to come across like some lager at the bar. Jim Rome's a turd that somehow sprouted legs and a halfway functional brain. This is the same guy that bagged on the UFC and called "cagefighting" barbaric and idiotic. Now that MMA has grown so popular, he quickly changes his tune and addresses it on his show. What a fucking worm.

I don't agree with how Rome worded his comments, but it's the absolute truth.

Liddell will be completely destroyed by Anderson and it would give him his 4th loss in 5 fights. That would all but put the nail in the coffin.

Rome says a lot of stupid ass comments that stir people up, many which have been on the subject of MMA in the past. Anyways its not like this is something you would not expect from him.
