Is this guy serious?, just because he was supposed to fight Matt Hughes for the belt doesn't mean he was a top ten WW.

Yes he did beat Nick Diaz in a decision, but Diaz was really high that night and thought he was Anderson Silva and that he could KO Riggs, instead of just taking him down and submitting him.

Great interview, I really liked it.

Each time Riggs fights, I keep hoping "this fight is the one where he finally gets his shit together..." it would be funny if it was against a fighter I really like, like Misaki. If he does beat Misaki, that would put him borderline in the top 10 in my book--I have Misaki at #5 right now at MW. Not a lot of UFC-only guys know who he is, but it would be a huge win for Riggs.

hehe nice, i guess you do these interviews by phone?

riggs is a good fighter, but he's literally been up and down in the ufc, i think he went winlosswinlosswinloss there. i think it would help if he were a bit more aggressive, you know impose his will a little more. look at the swick, hughes fights and you'll see him being a bit passive...he should skip a bit of the feeling out process imo.
