Who is the number one contender in the UFC lightweight division?
Spencer Fisher?
Sam Stout?
Melvin Guillard?

i think that it is a little early to tell. we will have to wath all 3 of those fighters eventually duke it out, along with others like stephenson, pulver will most likely get a shot, hermes franca of course, and probably even joe lauzon.
i think we eventually see guillard.....(once his ground game improves a bit)

probably guillard. however, the dust in that division wont settle for another year or two seeing how its just now getting under way in the ufc.

I wouldn't be surpised Joe Lauzon gets the next shot. Just so the UFC can get rid of him, while in the mean time give Pulver another match so that he can eventaully get a title shot. That way the UFC can have the Champion vs. Champion match.
