I'm not much of an Alves fan, but I had to vote for him. A game, healthy, beast in Koscheck didn't have anything for him, and was almost finished a couple of times.
I wanted to vote for Dos Santos, seeing as how he KO'd a top ten HW in his debut, but it was a KO of a bloated, saggy, Werdum who probably didn't think Dos Santos was fit to wipe his ass, and was already looking eight or nine months ahead to a title shot.
I really hope that Dos Santos isn't just a case of lightning in a bottle. Dude's impressive.

^^ but Werdum wasn't bloated and saggy. He intentionally put on more weight and muscle. It was 100% planned.
I agree that since he was walking around at 245ish, he didn't need more weight, but it was still his plan to come in heavy.

I voted Alves. Very tough month this time - you could make decent arguments for at least a few folks on there. In my opinion, nobody really ran away with the pick, even though in the early voting Alves is certainly pulling away from the others.

I'm just saying, bad gameplanning and timing on his (and/or his camp's) part.

Not Bisping fan really, but his performance was excellent, and actually surprising to me. So I picked him.

I had to pick Alves. I was rooting for Koscheck and I thought he would win but Alves really impressed me. To go 3 rounds with Koscheck and win is no easy task.
Sherk was a close second for me but his win wasnt as dominant as Thiago's.
While I think quick kO's are cool and all, Im hesitant to vote for people like Dos Santos and Petruzelli because those kind of wins leave much to be asked.
