I agree that since he was walking around at 245ish, he didn't need more weight, but it was still his plan to come in heavy. | Have you got a source for that? I thought he looked like shit.
My instincts are to vote for Cane, as I thought a win over a focused Soko beat a win over an unfocused Werdum, [not to mention I feel Cane is on the fringe of top 10 with the win, and Dos Santos is not] but I can be persuaded.

and I voted for Alves... he dominated the fight with Kos, another top 5 WW and also showed that he's going to be one big test for whoever walks out with the WW championship. His TDD is improving with every fight, which is obvious when one of the best decorated wrestlers in all of MMA has difficulty taking him down.
Alves has really solidified himself in the WW rankings. Although Mousasi is having one helluva year by winning 6 fights in 2008 and the dream mw tourney.. Alves to me is the fighter of the year. He has went right through two top 5 fighters and one top 10. At the start of the year, he wasn't even near the title picture and now the undisputed #1 contendor.

Dos Santos
KOing Werdum in your UFC debut is one hell of a way to debut.

It is amazing how much people freak out whenever I forget someone lol Quote:

I'm just saying, bad gameplanning and timing on his (and/or his camp's) part. | Fair enough Quote:

Kidding, but not by much.
I still think it's bullshit that Mir is included in the "tournament" over Werdum and that Lesnar is included at all, but that's plitics and PPV's for you.
I'm still thinking Werdum looked like shit, only there was 10 pounds more of it than I expected. I'm going to decline to vote because I'm clearly sulking just too hard to think straight.

I would go with AA, simply because of the improvement he has shown. Looking more like the old AA.
Would have picked Santos or Alves, but, Santos, I haven't really seen his fights other than this last one, he performed great, but I have not seen any other fights to compare. With Alves, he did great and has been doing great which is why I didn't pick him.
Seth? I was not impressed with his performance. He looked like a scared puppy to me in that fight. After he won, Seth seemed more shocked that anyone else. I give him props for taking it on short notice and standing... Uh...
