Very strange night of MMA. All in all, in my opinion the strangest card I've ever seen.

What in your mind is the biggest surprise around WEC 36?

Very strange night and it's hard to choose one... but the way Filho looked, i think, is the biggest surprise. He was a champion after all.

With everything that's been going on in Filho's personal life, I really wasn't surprised with the way his fight went. When I seen he came in seven pounds overweight, I immediately changed my pick on MMAPlayground. I knew he wasn't going to win and actually thought Sonnen might TKO him instead of riding it out to a decision. With that effort, I guess we won't be seeing Filho in UFC anytime soon. He needs to go back to Japan and either get into WVR or DREAM.

Faber's KO was the most surprising to me. He got rocked, but he tried to take a page from Anderson Silva's book and ended up taking a page out of Kimbo Slice's instead. I had a feeling Brown would make this a competitive fight, but I never imagined he'd KO Faber, let alone in the 1st round!

I voted for Fihlo coming in overweight. To me it is still boggling for the champion to miss weight by any amount, but for any fighter to miss weight for THAT amount is upseting.

Obviously the Brown/Faber fight was shocking, but you always kind of expect something like that to possibly happen. I had the same feeling for the Cote/Silva fight - I just though, "you know what, something crazy might happen here."

i chose something else because there wasnt a choice of all of the above. very wierd night thats for sure.

I was most surprised that they didn't choose to show McCullough/Cerrone in favor of some of the other lackluster crap on there.

I was pretty sure Filho was going to stink up the joint, he looked like shit against Sonnen over a year ago...not that Sonnen is even very good, but WEC and Filho should be ashamed that shit was aired. And what about Filho's camp not handing over the belt? I hope Arona stops returning his calls.

I still don't see how Rosholt gets airtime over McCullough/Cerrone.

Oh, and I finally won money betting against Faber. That was a pleasant surprise.

I expected Filho to drag everything down, so his performance wasn't a real shocker to me.

Faber getting KTFO like that, though, that stopped me in my tracks.

Always thought Filho was overrated so this in no surprise to me.

I picked the Pulver fight... I think he is done. BJ and Uriah took the fight out of him.
