I agree with Val that Fedor fights smarter than people give him credit for. He makes it look easy, so they don't necessarily pick up the thought behind it.
For me, that was really the only thing that made Fedor/Randy interesting. I had no doubt that Fedor would win, but what Randy would plan and how Fedor would counter it was the most interesting.

rh | I might have to give it to Fedor. Couture and Jackson are the best at creating a gameplan before hand, but Fedor is the best at gameplanning while the fight is actually happening, which is much more effective (obviously).

Having an almost perfect record, your game plan has to mess up somewhere. The way how he shows his domination in a fight just shows how great of a fighter he is. His transitional game is so awesome. I doubt he walked in to the Cro Cop fight "game-planing" not to stand up with him. Or I doubt he prepared his fight with Nog to not bring it to the ground with him. He's ready for any thing thrown his way.
If Fedor has any gameplan at all its to be in the best shape possible for the fight; mentally and physically. Which to me is the same gameplan he can apply for every fight.

Reconsidering, I think Randy does more with less than Fedor, so he's got to be up there.
hmmm...

i will say randy, greg jackson and mark dellagrotte. just to comment on fedor i dont really think he goes into a fight with a game plan per say, he is just so good that he can adapt to how the fight is going.
