Not racist or anything, but something tells me if this was a black/hispanic/asian fighter holding up a shirt supporting their race, they wouldnt be called racist just proud. So why are we dogging Hughes for this, aside from the fact that hes a dick?

He knew what the shirt said IMO.

I won't knock it, to each their own. It's no worse than black or gay pride. If you say white pride you are racist somehow.

Personally, I like to think I have more to be proud of than just the color of my skin. Being proud to be a color is ignorant. There is no safe race. Whites have Charles Manson, blacks have OJ, etc.

What kind of no-personality fuck needs to express themselves through the color of their skin.

Because there is a double standard when it comes to race.

Something tells me this thread may max out the "Hughes-o-meter" measurement for thread length.

Groups that evoke "white pride" are ostensibly denigrating other races in America. I think the "english motherfucker" part speaks to that pretty clearly

I'm proud to be white. I think English should be the official language in the United States. I don't think either of those things makes me a racist. Does it?

Then again, everyone loves to hate Matt Hughes...although nobody needed this thread to give them another reason to hate Matt Hughes.

It's ironic that today I am sporting the "Hughes getting choked out" BJ Penn sig LOL.

I know you're not a racist, but read some of the garbage on that whiteboy.us page. The "knowledge" and "blog" sections are filled with anti-black sentiment and revisionist history.

My point is that "white pride" is often just a term used as window dressing by racists and bigots. I mean, you're proud of who you are, and theres no shame in that, but would you chat people up at the grocery store about white pride/white power? Its pretty safe to say that people would not give you the benefit of the doubt, lol

I don't see anything on that site that claims Hughes endorses their product or their "society, " it just captions who he is. He is clearly at a Harley shop in the pic, at least to me all the biker gear looks the same. How would he know the difference between one group that is white supremacist and another that are Shriners without researching each group before signing their autograph? In my opinion Hughes is a victim here, bad people making money off of his accomplishments.
