Because anglo-eurpean's are the only people to ever do those things. Tribes sold each other into slavery, the Egyptions enslaved the Jews for hundreds of years, There was also the Roman Empire, the Mongrul Empire, The Persian Empire and so on there, And yes the early settlers of america killed and destroyed alot of Native peoples cultures, and the Nazi's were white, but look at what Japan did to the koreans during world war 2 forcing them to take japanese names, using the young men of Korea as frontline cannon fodder, and taking their women as sex slaves for the soldiers in base camps, so to say that white history is disgusting is a bit closed minded or turning a blind eye to what happens elsewhere in other cultures and races.

Now I'm very proud of who I am and where my heritage come's from. But I base my life upon my own achievements and not my families history. As for the slogan on that shirt. I live in Texas and where I live here Their are many cultures and I think we should welcome all cultures and people, but When people descide to move to the US I don't think you have to know english when you get here but I think you should actively try to learn it once you get here. What some people don't know and you can ask the Mexican-Americans that you do, is that a vast majority come here with no intention of ever learing english and expect that you should learn spanish so when they come into your store or place of buisness you be of service to them. That I think is wrong on so many levels. If I went to Mexico and demanded that some store speek Galic because I'm there now and I speek Galic would be laughable. I like Norway's policy on that which is if your going to have a work visa or petition to become a citizen there you must show that you are actively taking classes to learn their language. Some here may think these words are mean or wrong but then you have never driven upto a Burger King drive-thru in a large US city and been told when you went to order No Hablas Englais. As for if Matt Hughes does or does not support that group either publicly or behind closed doors it doesnt change his fighting record or that he has so many other reasons for people to call him an asshole.

P.S. I dont speek Galic (and probably am not spelling it right either) I just used it as a refrence point.

I didn´t say we were the only ones to do those things, just that we probably did it in the biggest scale and some people are still trying to continue doing it instead of learning from the past. I mean what kind of fucking moron wears nazi symbols and supports the ideology of one superior race.
I agree a lot with you, about learning the language and stuff. If you go to live in someones house you play by his rules. That´s just common sense.

yeah, not so sure how surprised I am about this, I mean he's kinda an uber-redneck, but somebody could've just handed him a tshirt and he was just being nice.

He's a fighter and I don't really look to consult Matt Hughes on racial issues to begin with, so I don't think it's a huge deal.

He has always gave me skinhead vibe so it is no surprise to me that he would be holding that up and tell you guys what I bet there are more than just him in MMA. When we I use to fight back in the day there were a lot of them in to it. Skins like to fight the ones with minor amounts of brains don't want to go to jail for it. They want an avenue for there fighting what better then MMA.

Since it looks like no one has noticed, the two designs are not part of one shirt. One design is the back of shirt 1, the other design is on the back of another shirt. This is just by looking at the graphic posted at the very beginning of this thread.

Now, if the website shows something different, I could care less. I choose not to frequent such sites, even for "fact checking," which is what some of you are probably doing. However, those of you who have gone to that website are also "endorsing" such filth (and I say that very loosely). Not intentionally, mind you, but all websites tend to use tracking cookies, web counters, etc. to measure their traffic. That racist site will probably love this kind of free publicity, and trumpet their increased traffic as legitimizing their message.

Since Hughes' camp has responded that he does not endorse this sort of thing and probably did not know what the shirt was promoting, that is good enough for me. I'm sure this will cause Matt to think twice before blindly signing any shirt in the future. If, however, this becomes a pattern, then he definately deserves the backlash. JMO.

Matt Hughes won't be changing anyone's mind about anything. He's a fighter.
