It just degenerated, nothing made it happen, time just made his disc to just not be there anymore.

That's too bad. He's had it rough the last couple of years. From his injury on TUF, to getting KTFO by Franklin, now this. I wish the guy the best, he seems to be a class act from what I have seen of him.

That's some bad news. I like Quarry.
On the topic of Quarry, but off the topic of his back.......and anyone tell me how Quarry got a title shot at Franklin's Middleweight belt before anyone else (especially the winners) from TUF 1? I realize that Sanchez moved to welterweight. But Nate didn't even win TUF and he got a title shot. It confuses me......
Later.

quarry got the title shot because after that win against sincade (whatever), he picked apart shonie carter and then beat pete sell. he had a name coming into tuf2.
i really hope this doesn't spell the end of quarry because i really liked the guy. quarry/franklin 2 was a rematch i was looking forward to, despite nate's ko loss in the first fight. it will be a shame if the last image of quarry in the ufc ring is going to be his legs stiff, shaking, and raised up off the mat at ufc 56.

I can't believe this. I've been hearing rumors about him being injured, but not this severe. Even though he was thrown to the wolves against Rich, I thought he had the potential to be a top five middlewieght with a win or two after losing to Rich. Good luck Nate!
