I'd love to see Fedor fight Brock. It's just too bad that it's unlikely that it will happen.

Most heavyweight fighters in MMA aren't ready for Fedor. If you ask me, Brock's a better test than the slow, plodding Tim Sylvia.

Fedor will fight Arlovski and hopefully after that will take on Barnett. After that, he's pretty much done with the division. A fight with Couture or Lesnar would simply be more icing on the cake.

I think his management is trying to bring more attention to Affliction. They'll keep doing these 'press releases' as long as they aren't associated with the UFC.

As much respect as I gained from Lesnar for his win against Randy I also got to say that Randy wrote the blueprint on how to beat Lesnar: avoid big strikes, use footwork, try to control where the fight takes place and of course taking the big man into deep waters.

This is something that both Fedor and Nog could do IMO, MAYBE Gonzaga.

So yea, Lesnar will just be another transition HW champion for the UFC, and like someone else said he will probably not be able to climb the mountain again.

I think it's hilarious how people jump to Dana's defense whenever he throws integrity out the window to cash in a few more dollars; saying shit like "It's good business."

Well, it's good business for M1 to remind everyone that Fedor is by far the greatest MMA fighter on the planet regardless of what revisionist propaganda pap Dana will spew next.

If making a buck is the only thing people in the industry need to worry about, then it give the Fink and Fedor carte blanche to say whatever they want...it increases Fedor's name/face recognition and might bring in a few more buys for Affliction.

To all the people defending UFCs point of view. It's real sad that you dont have love for the sport. It doesnt bother me that Dana does things the way he does them. He is only defending his bussines. But to justify him is just plain dumb. So what if UFC is the greatest league. Dana is not my family. He doesnt feed me. I could care less about UFC, Adrenaline or any other promotion. There are two people i want to see fight at this point and UFC arrogance is whats stopping that. Now you will never see the historic battle of Randy vs Fedor! NEVER! You will never see Lesnar and Fedor either.All because of UFC. Hurray UFC lovers. If was never UFC against some other promotion. Its athletes vs athletes. UFC ppv buyers are whats killing MMA. Stop cheering for the worst behaving promotion in the world and then maybe u will see your dream fights happen.

Dude... of course everyone wants to see the super fights. I would have killed for Fedor vs. Randy like a year ago but the fact remains that we can't expect people to behaive like idiots and shot themselves in the foot when they are trying to run a business. Of course it would be fucking awesome if Microsoft, Google and Wal-Mart all of a sudden decided to give all their profit of the year to us guys on the mmanews forum. We would all be happy as hell and go nutts over our huge fuckin checks but it wouldn't make very much business sense for them would it? Dana is not running a charity.

Damn I hate this shit over and over. Fedor is at the top. We know it, Dana knows it but the casual fan will need to See him in the UFC to know it. Shitty situation for us. Part of me wants Affliction to go under so Fedor has no where else to get a good pay check but man they put on a hell of a show and if that happened Fedor might think of doing something else other than fighting. But yeah, Fedor vs Any HW in the UFC via whatever he wants

as bold and even arrogant as all this sounds, they're absolutely right about everything they said. props to them for even calling out the ufc promotion of having anderson as the undisputed #1 p4p, as i firmly believe fedor holds that title.

and lesnar fighting fedor is a bad, bad idea for brockie. maybe in two years we'll see where he's at.

The good news is that Arlovski and Fedor are to fight. It's going to only get harder to ignore Fedor after that one.

Dana is still counting on Fedor needing the UFC more than the UFC needing him someday. In many cases I think Dana makes the right call on these things, but sometimes there's a fighter who is let go or not signed and I think, 'what a wasted opportunity'.

Thus far it's Werdum and Fedor covering both sides of this. One let go and one not signed.

Sure, Fedor could tear up the division and then leave, but at least the fans would have been satisfied. In the end, though, I wouldn't do a co-promotion either.

Perhaps a petition? Has one ever been done to let White know how badly the fans want to see Fedor in the UFC? I'm not saying it would work, but I still think it would be worth a try.
