yeah I don't expect this is going to be some blockbuster video game to begin with
All the more reason why they'd want to bolster it with as many recognizable names--exclusive, recognizable names--to sell it to people who wouldn't know any better, but will buy it because they recognize Chuck's mohawk.

If this is the game they're talking about, UFC 2009 UNDISPUTED , it's the one everyone's been jocking since the first trailer appeared ... and by the looks of it, it's not going to suck--that game will make a shitload of money when it hits the shelves.
It looks to me like this is just a power play by Dana White where he is willing to let the AKA guys go with the hopes that they cut ties with their agent. Dana said he's had problems with the guy before in dealing with Chuck. I honestly think that it is Dana's beef with him and the fighters have to suffer or cut ties. I doubt it was beef with Fitch because Fitch didn't even talk to him and other fighters from there who have talked to Dana has worked things out already.
It sucks that this happened though, but I expect that kind of business dealings from being in the wrestling business. Promoters want it all from you for as little cost as possible and it's hard to change that. Even though it seems like it should be easy for guys to come together and take a stand, it's hard when you risk losing the money you do get.
