I would definitely give this fight to sanchez, but the weight cut may actually be the difference in this fight, I'm curious to see if it actually affects his conditioning cuz sherk is gonna come in really good shape as usual

At this point he's kinda forced to call out the big names and top contenders at 155. Not trying to be rude but you said Diego is an "easier fight", who do you think he should fight then, Huerta, Guida, Diaz? I just don't see him losing to anyone outside of BJ and Kenny. | I agree that Sherk is in a similar position as Franklin, although I think Franklin handled it better. Sherk should just be putting his head down and trying to beat whoever the UFC decides to put in front of him. Franklin took care of Macdonald and Okami, without calling either one out, and got his title shot again and Sherk/Penn was much more competitive then Silva/Franklin 1. He should just be taking whatever the UFC puts in front of him and realise there's a chance the Penn might not be a part of the LW picture for much longer and Sherk could be put into another vacant title fight.

I agree.... Remember how bad Brandon Vera looked after the first fight he came down 205? Imagine how that would have turned out if he was facing someone with the speed/power/strength/endurance of a Sean Sherk.
Diego better be careful and come in ready to fight at 155 pounds, cuz Sherk would have no problem wearing him down to nothing for 3 rounds.

WAR the winner of Sherk/Sanchez vs the Winner of PENN/KENFLO!!!! | Yep beat me to it - completely agree, with the obvious caveat that bj handles both of them however a fight against ken-flo in my opinion is much harder to call.
I prefer Kenny as a fighter to either of them so am hopeful he lights both of them up with elbows.

This is a pretty interesting match-up. Wrestling is pretty even, striking I give to Sherk and BJJ is an advantage to Sanchez.
I am going to give the edge to Sherk if this fight happens, I think he is just to big and too good of a LW to handle as your first fight at 155. I have a feeling Sanchez's cardio would be hampered in his first fight @ 155 and Sherk could take advantage of it.
But I really would not be that surprised to see Sanchez pull out the win either. Quote:

I think kenflo would beat both sherk and sanchez in a rematch...since fighting both those guys his muay Thai has become deadly and his wrestling has improved quite a bit, not to mention his sick bjj..

I think that in a Sherk/Sanchez match up, that it will look ALOT like Sherk/Florian. I think it will be an easy win for Sherk.

Both guys I think just have his number. | Disagree on a couple of points: first, I'd give Sanchez the striking advantage over Sherk. Diego made Fiorivanti, a very underrated striker by nature, look bad on the feet in their fight, and he'd have the reach on Sherk.
Second, Florian has a great chance to beat Sanchez in a rematch at 155. Remember, when they fought the first time it was at 185, way above Florian's weight class. He's been fighting at this weight now for a long time, and his skill set has expanded dramatically.

sounds like a pretty sick fight, I like Sherk for it. Like it's said above , the first time these guys cut down they don't always look like themselves.
