The article was posted here on mmanews homepage (sorry I'm on my phone can't really put it on here) but the article "Rampage wants Griffin but a shot at Evans more likely" really disappointed me, while I was hoping that the winner of machida/silva will be the next fighter in line for a shot at the title, Dana may want rampage to fight evans first...if that happens I might just start sending ufc some hate mail!! If machida wins his record will be undefeated as well as rashads which should be a great selling point and machida would be more than deserving of a shot in my opinion...

It looks like fighters like Okami and Machida need to step it up and find a killer instinct. You might not like it but UFC seems to want exciting title fights that have a draw to them. Is Machida deserving of a title fight? Probably. Would it be one of the worst drawing PPVs in history? Unless there is an awesome undercard, yes.

If Machida takes cares of business against Thiago they can't deny him the winner of Rampage/Rashad.

Machida is only 30-years old - he will get his shot very soon if he beats Silva. He's not getting screwed, because Rampage deserves the title shot more than him at this point.

Part of the reason why Lyoto is facing Thiago is to see if Lyoto can hang with a guy like Thiago, with good punching power, and great striking.

While Lyoto has hung with strikers in guys like Tito, Thiago's striking is a different level.

It will definately give him a stern test.

Duh. Tito ORTIZ is not a striker, and Lyoto did more than hang with him - he ripped him apart.

worst drawing ever? WHAT?! are you out of your mind? first of it's a championship fight and at the moment Evans has a nice little fan appeal going BECAUSE OF HIS KNOCKOUTS so that would automatically make it a high draw, second after the intense highlight reel of Machida's amazing accomplishments and his wins over bj, ace, soukodjou, and tito and so many others he would be an awesome sell...

plus this past card 92, had an amazing card and i hated the event, worst of the year but that's because all my fighters lost =(

well lets see if lyoto will actually stand and bang with thiago and not just run around the octagon, ufc wants to see a fight in the octagon, not a jogging marathon. we dont even know how lyoto will take a shot to the chin, for all we know he could just drop.
