DREAM doesn't care about the match... there is no hype for it in Japan.... they might put it on at a later date. DREAM officials have publicly said they didn't want the match for NYE.
Cro Cop wants it. Overeem wants it, but wants to act like Cro Cop doesn't for some "cool points". DREAM doesn't want it.
It is really that simple.

It was a 50/50 night for Mikes gym, win for Melvin, loss for Badr. | Manhoef is a f$#king beast!! Imagine if he had a ground game?

As far as I know he is not juicing, Juice or not that doesn't give you that kind of power.
People really need to research what steroids really do, Forrest could take all the steroids in the world he will never have the power of Manhoef.

They were talking about Overeem's additional bulk, established in a fairly short period of time.

Overeem looks HUGE! Probably the biggest I have ever seen him. The 1st Knock down by Overeem looked great and the KO was excellent.
If I were the UFC, I would take a nice good look at Overeem. He would be a GREAT addition to the UFC HW division. He reminds me of how CroCop used to fight. Speaking of which, I would not want to fight Overeem either if i were CroCop.
I was never an Overeem fan til this fight, all i have to say is "wow" to how he has progressed. I can see him breaking top ten rankings real soon if he keeps this up....
only problem i have with him is his freakish size. ......... Supplements?
And Cro Cop did not impress me at all. | Quote:

It might also explain the recent improvement in his performances... Obviously, unless and until there's a positive test, we won't be able to say for sure, but it's something to think about. | Quote:

His last 3 mma fights have been at HW which suits his body type much better which may explain his improved stamina & performances.BTW hes not anywhere near as ripped looking as he was when he fought at 205,granted he looks bigger now but its been a while since he fought at LHW & even if he were on said suppliments, dont count on a positive roid test coming out of japan. Those japanese fight orgs dont let little details like that get in the way of putting a good show.

It is a matter of what the muscle needs in terms of of blood flow and oxygen.
I'm not accusing Alistair, I am simply stating a fact.

Today an official weigh-in procedure was held in Tokii, Japan. FEG put all its stars for the year-ending megashow. Check the results of the weigh-ins.

17: DREAM-Rule (70.0kg):
Shinya Aoki 69.9kg vs. Eddie Alvarez 69.2kg
16. DREAM-Rule (+93.1):
Mark Hunt 130.4kg vs. Jerome Lebanner (LeBanner didn't show up, rumor has it he's got some lung infection but since this bout is held in open weight, his absence at the weigh-ins shouldn't be a problem if he's not ill)
15. K-1-Rule (Open):
Gegard Mousasi 97.8kg vs. Musashi 103.8
14. DREAM-Rule (+93.1kg):
Mirko "CroCop" Filipovic vs. Hong Man Choi 148.5

Sam Morgan (177.75) vs. Cung Le (181)
Alistar Overeem (224) vs. Paul Buentello (250)

Pete Sabala (137) vs. Anthony Figueroa (132)
Alex Crispin (155.5) vs. Clint Colonel (154.75)
Chris Drumm (145.4) vs. Eben Esguerra (145)
adding 30lbs over a 12 month period naturally is not impossible especially for a frame like overeems.
i am not aware if there was test after the buentelo fight.
untill he tests positive he's clean as far as i am concerned.
it seems that people are punished for living a healthy lifestyle by being called roiders at every turn.

I'm not accusing Alistair, I am simply stating a fact. | But he doesn´t have to cut weight anymore so he could have a lot more stamina even with the added muscle.
