Oh, my god?!
Any one see the Overeem/Badr fight?
Overeem looks HUGE! Probably the biggest I have ever seen him. The 1st Knock down by Overeem looked great and the KO was excellent.
If I were the UFC, I would take a nice good look at Overeem. He would be a GREAT addition to the UFC HW division. He reminds me of how CroCop used to fight. Speaking of which, I would not want to fight Overeem either if i were CroCop.
I was never an Overeem fan til this fight, all i have to say is "wow" to how he has progressed. I can see him breaking top ten rankings real soon if he keeps this up....
only problem i have with him is his freakish size. ......... Supplements?
And Cro Cop did not impress me at all.

This was a bad event for K-1 fighters. I mean, Hari losing to Overeem makes the K-1 World GP look really bad.
Given, Hari has never even won the GP, nor is he the top dog at K-1, but he was a HW champion.

Either way, Overeem was...

| Someone on another post said that he weighed in at 253 pounds. I don't know if that's true or what, but if it is it would surely raise suspicions with me. Wasn't this guy fighting at 205 fairly recently (i.e. within the past two years or so)? To go from 205 to a ripped 253 seems a bit questionable. It might also explain the recent improvement in his performances... Obviously, unless and until there's a positive test, we won't be able to say for sure, but it's something to think about.

Given, Hari has never even won the GP, nor is he the top dog at K-1, but he was a HW champion. | Hari was about to kick Remy's ass until the DQ so IMO he's considered a top dog in this year K-1 World GP, Hari was fighting guys way bigger than Overeem anyways in K-1 so I think Overeem's win makes it more Legit, not including the total Domination he gave Hari in the kicking and punching dept., before the fight Hari waa criticizing MMA guys that the K-1 guys are the real warriors cause they KO a lot ,ironically he's the one who got KO'd

The judges had Remy ahead on the score card, and Hari had been rocked. The fight was pretty even leading into the DQ. Add the fact that Remy beat Hari last time.
And no, win or lose, Semmy Schilt is still the top dog in K-1. Aerts squeeked by in his decision victory and Semmy has been the most dominate guy since Hoost. Right now, it is Semmy, Aerts, Remy... then Hari (especially after this fight). At most, Hari is the #3 guy.
Also, who cares about size in the (S)HW K-1 division? Unless we are talking about Semmy Schilt, size hasn't really done anyone any favors in the WGP (look at Choi for example).
And yeah, Hari was just made a fool of by Overeem, no doubt about it.

Either way, Overeem was... | Probably both, but Overeem is looking better and better, his problem has always been taking a punch to the face " The GG syndrome" as I like to call it, seems he has gotten over that.
I think Overeem would do pretty good in K-1, I rather see him stick to MMA.

I love Mark Hunt but Melvin is one of my favourites and seeing him stop Hunt just reminds you (in case you didn't already know lol) that he's as dangerous a striker as you get when he's on form.
It was a 50/50 night for Mikes gym, win for Melvin, loss for Badr.
