Exactly. Everyone else is making the excuses. He hasn't come out and said anything yet. Here is my take on it. I can believe that he was sick before the fight. That is not hard to believe. But who can say for sure that he didn't want to fight? Maybe he was sick and puking and dehydrated,etc...and maybe he still wanted to fight. Even though a guy wants to fight, if he is that sick he is not going to be able to put up a 100% healthy fight. I have been sick like that before and you don't feel like doing anything much less fighting. So maybe he wanted to fight as to not look like he was scared by backing out. And maybe he was sick which would explain his performance. But, he will come back and hopefully be 100% healthy the next time they fight. And to everyone that has jumped on Silva's bandwagon now...Franklin will win the fight next time!!

Geez I didnt think the post on the rumor would cause such an uproar. I mean yeah Rich had a very odd look on his face coming to the octagon and yes his chick was crying. Regardless of all that I dont see that causing him to get manhandled as bad as he did. Maybe if the rumor is true that would be some of the reason but he was outclassed big time and Rich will have to train harder and differently if he ends up in the octagon with Silva again.

His eyes were not focused they were darting then staring off into space
his body language was hunched like he was carrying a load on his shoulders like he didn't know what was going to happen. Not the same look he has had in the past walking to the ring
at 1 point in the ring when he tried to intelligently retaliate you can literally see him mentally give up and just throw 2 wild punches

Franklin made it clear he hadn't prepared properly when, unbelievably, he said he thought the clinch would be his 'sweet spot.' That was an insane belief, and made it obvious he hadn't considered Silva's Muay Thai skills properly.
