|  How would Karo Parisyan's skill work in Pride?
Karo is by far the best Judo practitioner in the UFC. He is top 4 or 5 at 170. In Pride there are a number of Judo practitioners. How would he far in an MMA org with some amy other guys who are as skilled as him in Judo. Could he still dominate w/takedowns and Judo Subs. or would it create more of a level ground against other Juokas? would we see him able to have high impact high intensity fights there?

Karo Parisyan has an incredible background. He's been training in judo/jiujitsu and hayastan grappling at a very young age. His trainer was world class sambo/judo champion gokor chivichyan. The only thing karo lacks is his trianing. He doesn't train enough for his fights, and think's his knowledge in judo is going to allow him to pull off a victory. He's an incredible fighter, but lacks training. In Pride, i don't think he will do too well. I know they aren't in the same weight class, but fighters like Kharitonov, Yoshida, and Nakamura have far superior Judo skills in my opinion.
edit: for once im not biased, i usually promote all Armenian fighters.

i think so, karo is a world class fighter with world class judo.. i think his judo would still be affective and he would most likely round out his game even more in pride...

As far as Judo skills alone goes, there are some guys in PRIDE that were Olympic Gold Medalists. I don't think he could match the Judo skill of guys like Yoshida and Nastula, but then again, those guys are much bigger.

Karo is probably the best guy in MMA at using Judo without a gi. hands down.
and i actually think Karo would do just as well in Pride, even better perhaps, because of the ring
its hard enough to throw people, let alone throw them when they're just a big strong wrestler trying to push you into the cage. the only good thing about the UFC is that Karo can compete at 170, which is probably his best weight, although he could cut some body fat and make 160

Karo would do well in PRIDE, but I'd rather him stay UFC.
