Lindland.. thats just scary, im a big A. Silva fan but Lindland horrifies me lol I dont think he can finish A. Silva, but he can definently grind out a decision as he his the BEST at A. Silva's weakness and thats wrestling.

I've heard several rumors about this. I cant say whats going to happen because we all know who is handling this decision. From past experience I would say the least expensive opponent who will then sign a long term contract of indentured servitude . Matt Lindland is a intelligent guy who has got himself to be considered as one of the top rank MW fighters in the world by many people. He has had prior issues w/ the Dana Machine and realizes the threat so would only do that for the proper incentive. Anyone will sell their soul, you just have to offer enough money. NAte Marquadt hasnt done much recently and is probably hungry. Swick well I would venture to guess is he's a much cheeper hooker then Lindland(not that their is anything wrong w/ being a hooker dont get me wrong).

Swick has no chance of beating A. Silva. That is just plain silly. I am still puzzled by how some of you are so impressed with that guy. They will keep the fight standing and Swick has no chace with Silva.
Rich might put up a decent fight and learn how to get out of the clinch. I have never seen anyone just letting the other person hold them and hit them as much as they want. Did he just not know how to get out? Anyways, he wont get the shot right away obviosly so Rich for the title is still some ways off.
Lindland is obviosuly a great wrestler and I see him giving Silva a good battle for the belt. But then, Lindland isn't even in UFC.
So right now, no matter who fights Silva, Silva keeps the belt.

I really don't see Silva losing that title anytime soon, especially to Franklin....so its not gonna much matter who he fights at UFC67
