He see how the Halloween and Friday the 13 th series were goin... Slasher gets teenager with scary music dubbed in...
Then comes Wes, with a total new look and reinvents the horror genre with a supernatural unrealist dream power in Freddy.. And finally when that gets old he does scream!! The guy is a genius.

But you also have to give props to guys like Clive Barker, Romero, Argento, Hooper, etc. Each has his own outlook on horror. Have you seen the master's of Horror series? If not check it out on Showtime (or rent the DVDs)

apparantly no one has been paying much attention to modern times...even though he's dead, Rick James would beat Freddy, Jason, MM, Jaws and Chuck Norris by SLAP! Rd 1... LMFAO!
UNITY!

In the last couple of years there's been quite a few good horror movies released. And Romero came out of hiding and is back making some more zombie flicks. Slasher films are great and all, but theres something to be said for a horror film with an interesting story line/folklore. There was even the intro of Emily Perkins as a "scream queen" for her roles in the Ginger Snaps trilogy (not the scariest movies but they have good story lines and great acting).

I'll tear that little sh*t to rags. I'd ground and pound his little raggedy ass, put him in a kimura and tear the arms off. Charles Lee Ray is a b*tch!!!!
