Mir is a formidable BJJ fighter, however dont sleep on Vera. Vera is the better all around fighter. He has a brown belt under Lloydd Irving(BJJ Hall of Fame), was solid wrestler, and has amazing stand up, a all around all star(I'm not sure about the wrestling but from his statements he was, and I have no reason to doubt as per his fights). Mir is a huge underdog in my opinion.

i don't like vera because of his cocky attitude, but the guy is one serious fighter. very well rounded...very powerful. and if mir doesn't show up in shape, this fight will end very quickly in vera's favor.

i am pulling for mir, and i hope that he show's up in shape so we get the chance to see a good fight!!!

i think he lost a step after that accident, if mir shows up in shape he is still in trouble, if vera goes in clam, a good mir will still have a hell of a time with him nto saying he cant beat vera because that would be a ass nine comment on my part, but i just dont see mir beating vera

I hope the old Frank is back and even better. If he is than he can beat Pera. But like all these debates back and forth these guys are both pros and if they bring their A games, either guy can win on any given night. Mir being back can breath some much needed life into the UFC hw division.

I can see this fight going 2 ways..... Total domination on the ground by Mir (if he returns to his old self) or Vera throwing some serious knees to the body and softening mir up for a ko. If mirs last fight was any indication of how his cardio is then hes in trouble. Vera will tire him out. But what if Mir wins then what happens with Vera? He has all this hype surrounding him. Could he be another Kongo? Could we see Mir back to his old self? Winning then going on to have a rematch with Sylvia (if he wins which i think he unfortunately will) and then setting up a long awaited match with Mir back to his old self and the hungary Arlovski if he gets by his next couple matches. That should keep the Hw div busy and fairly interesting.. What do u guys think? ( AND NO, I DO NOT WANNA HEAR UR STUPID OPINION KO WARRIOR OF HOW BIG BOSS MAN WILL COME IN AND TAKE EVERYONE OUT AT THE SAME TIME WITH A STEEL CHAIR....LOL )
