I believe Frank is the best middleweight ever. He had power,punching,intensity,aggression,cardio,submiss ion and the will to win and he intimidated fighters. His belief in himself was incredible. And that sick body. He was voted the all time greatest MMA fighter at the time he retired. I just hope he comes back to UFC. What r your thoughts?

I think the threadstarter is referring to Middleweight as being 185 lbs. division, Couture and Liddell are both Light Heavyweights. And I wouldn't put Frank as best MW ever just for the fact that he hasn't fought enough of the top MWs and is basically wasting the prime of his career. He could've been the best ever, but got way too inactive for consideration.

Frank's the most inactive fighter in history. He didn't want to stay around and get whupped. He might be getting the Ken Shamrock treatment right now.

I agree a lot with Lethalstriker. Frank no doubt is an excellent fighter but he has wasted a lot of time on the sidelines while he still has his youth. Fact is there are other fighters in his division that most would love to see him fight to see how he does. Best of all time??... I just dont know how I could say he is without seeing more from him. He is among the best though, I'll say that.

frank beat everyone they put in front of him. he left on top. he was the best of his time. and i believe he had enough skill to definitely compete today. he is no ken. don't insult him. he has no weakness.

Actually when Frank fought in the UFC the MW was 205 if I'm not mistaken. They later created the MW division and LHW to allow fighters more options. To be the best you must consistently fight the best. And IMO Daniel Gracie could not even be considered top tier. Frank has ridden on past accomplishment for to long. In order for me to look at Frank as the best he needs to fight. He had some amazing fights. And his takedowns really where like poetry in motion. I forget the Russians name but he KO a top level fighter w/ a slam a la Tanner v. Tito.

that was igor zinoviev and not to mention the way he armbarred top olympic wrestler kevin jackson who at the time was highly respected. took only 20 seconds too. and that beating of tito. did i love it.
