You guys keep saying that having a lackluster champ is better, but why? Strikeforce would be better off following the PRIDE model as far as crowning champions. They built their organization by putting on top fights with top fighters long before they crowned champions. Look how long it took them to crown lightweight and welterweight champs over there. Strikeforce has no LHW division and no legit contenders. The only possible legit contender would be Overeem after his win over Belfort.

if Overeem is still in Strikeforce he should be champ, period.
