It's a big no for the current Leben. But a yes if he improves and makes changes in his game plans, just like it's a yes for ANYONE else.

but in all honesty, unless the TUF 4 winner somehow holds Silva down and gets a fluke win, he will never take a belt from anyone in a top org

He's just a guy with KO power....the middleweight version of Tank Abbott.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to say he's a middleweight Tank Abbott...keep in mind that four of his wins have come via submission. The guy's not a bum (can't remember who on this thread called him that), he's trained with Team Quest and AMC Pankration, and may I also remind any naysayers that he does hold sixteen victories in an era of MMA that has evolved past Abbott/Severn/Coleman.

He's beaten top middleweights during his tenure in the UFC; not to say that he does not indeed have a hell of a long way to go before he can really compete with the big boys, but if puts some polish on his game, he may eventually be able to.

If Leben wasn't on that TV show, people would be singing his praises. He has wins over top guys. The guy is what, 5-1 in the UFC, and has faced tough guys each time out (with one obvious exception). As far as the UFC goes, Leben is probably 2 wins away from a title shot, and that's only because he lost to Silva.

Talent wise, he's got a little ways to go, but he's young, and he will be title contender sooner than later. He should develop some headwork and footwork with his stand up, and he'll be fine.
