| Will Chris Leben EVER be a title contender?
I'm kinda starting to wonder, since the Silva fight a few months back. Silva exposed Leben's agressiveness and lack of technical striking ability, but prior to that fight, Leben had victories over Gideon Ray, Jorge Rivera, and Edwin Dewees. Just interested to hear some folks' thoughts on whether or not Leben will ever evolve enough to legitimately compete with a Silva or a Franklin.

Leben is a f*cking joke. Dude was working in a car wash near my house before he started MMA. He's a bum!

It seems to me that in the UFC it doesnt matter who you beat in their cage. Its who you have beatten in other organizations. They seem to have no structure in chosing who fights for the titles, only hand picks, like this is kickball. I wish that there was a structured ranking, and I know that this has come up before but I thought that I would bring it up.

I think Chris will be a good contender, but never be a champion. I just dont see him beating the top guys in that division.

Leben hits from odd angles, really just turning over the punch. Most of his KO's are during a counterpunch from what I've seen. He will always have a punchers chance. However I think he should go work w/ the guys at the Pit. They may be able to teach him a jab .
