good idea, unfortunately online petitions are 100% ineffective and pointless.

It really sucks that they don't work too because just like this one it definitely reflects how much backing a problem has.

I am not a very big fan of NY(nothing against the state, just don't care for NYC personally), but no one can deny the statement it makes when, MMA holds an event in that state. Not necessarily a huge event in MSG, but to break into such a huge boxing stronghold like that will mean that MMA, no matter what anyone says, is here to stay. I think that now, but this would just be the icing.

LOL

NYC is the Epicenter of Sports in America. Nothing is big until it is done in NYC.

there's upwards of 20 million people in the Metro area, most of whom haven't even seen MMA because it doesn't happen in MSG. if it did, that would sky rocket the sport to brand new heights .

Think about it though, wrestling was just a region by region show until it started showing in MSG, then it was everywhere. Most of your biggest boxing matches of the old days that were in MSG were followed nationally not just on HBO.

oh, most definitely. I mean media in general boomed from all our Broadway and theater and later radio stations. Boxing in MSG means you made it as a boxer. I would kill to see a UFC show here and all the ad space you could want with all our buildings and 250 foot TV screens
