For me there are several fighters that are considered best pound for pound. Mirko CroCop, Wanderlei Silva, Matt Hughes, Antonio Rodrigo Noguera, Mauricio Shogun Rua, and Chuck Liddel. But, watching all of their fights I believe Wanderlei Silva is the best pound for pound...I'm not saying he can beat any of the fighters I mentioned in a snap. But, when it comes to overall skills I believe Wanderlei has the best skills...2nd is Rodrigo Noguera....of course this is my opinion. I am not debating with anyone but, this is just my stand.

BJ was up there till he lost to GSP, that knocked him down a few notches. Same goes with Gomi before he lost to Aurelio.

I said BJ WAS, meaning he isn't now. He did beat Gomi though.

I have to go with Hughes. The guy has dismantled just about everyone thrown at him and has shown tremendous heart in matches he was trailing. I also think Rich Franklin is drastically underrated. Anyone who can break their hand in the 2nd round of a title defense and is still able to stand and out strike one of the most dangerous strikers in UFC has earned my respect.

GSP didnt do any damage, but I know they got judges and scoring system, but if we all never saw the fight and saw BJ and GSP standing next to eachother tell me who won.
Totally agree!!!!

In what I consider a weak division...Silva, Lister and Marquardt is the only comp in the UFC...Don't give me that Swick bs he isn't there "Yet".
