| Dana white is producing a Spike TV special, Joe Rogan's standup
It's called 'comedy hour' on spike, and re-runs are going to go to comedy central as well.
since it's after 10pm it's not censored.
Here's a clip from rogan's blog Quote:
Dana and Zuffa (the company that owns the Ultimate Fighting Championship) are producing this special, and Dana feels like we need to make this thing a big production.
He’s thinking big venue, big stage. He says he’s talked to the big wigs at Spike, and they also want it to be BIG. They think it’ll be more exciting for the viewer at home that way.
I see their point. An intimate club might be the most fun to perform at and might be the most fun for the audience, but there’s nothing like a big, enthusiastic crowd to add excitement to something you’re watching at in your living room.
| and you can read the rest here. Joe purposely fucks up his paragraph structure and don't ask me why. He has always done it. The Joe Rogan Blog » Conduit to the Gaian Mind » I’m filming a SpikeTV comedy special Thursday, March 5th in Columbus, Ohio
By the way, i hope some people see the irony in this statement and why it looks really bad to the author. Quote:
When Menstealia-gate went down a couple years ago I started getting these angry emails from his supporters I found them so entertaining that I started saving them. With every angry, misspelled, illogical discharge of poorly placed words I felt more and more confidant that I was on the right track. | I wonder who will catch it.

I saw Joe Rogan's 1 hour standup act in 2006. It had a couple funny parts; I particularly liked him bashing the logic of the story of Noah and his Ark.
But to be honest, I thought his act was rather poor. Very Dane Cookish, lots of stupid growling and material which I just considered not funny at all.
For a real good fucking laugh.
Check out Louis CK's 'Shameless', and Louis CK's 'Chewed Up.'
That's comedic genius, it makes Rogan just look terrible.

I love Joe Rogan's stand up. Crude and insightful and underrated. Should be funny.

Joe alwas tries to come off as really successful. but he's a c-list celebrity. I mean, someone in the business tell me a game show host isn't the lowest rung on the ladder lol.
So those game shows aren't giving him the ability to edit stuff, add his flavor etc. that's why the man show failed so badlly.
But joe's standup is different. it's raw, and he's very smart, so it's fun to watch. But a LOT of people detest it. In fact, the common argument i hear is that it's an unsuccessful Dane Cook mo. lol.
anyway, you'll most likely enjoy his standup. if youre not offended by crude shit that is. I loved it, my sister hated it. And since I've seen him live probably 20 times I know he kills with the audience. they love him

That's comedic genius, it makes Rogan just look terrible. | Ouch if your comparing his stand up to Dane Cook, I might not ever want to see it...
He is beyond terrible.... Dane that is..
