im not just saying this cuz im Armenian as well, but this guy is a pretty good fighter.

how far do you guyz think he will go in PRIDE?

his fight with Makoto Takimoto was great, but i was surprised that Takimoto didn't say anything as his corner was trying to convince the ref to stop the fight. His eye was messed up pretty bad, but i thought he could have still continued.

what do you guyz think?

i don't think he could have continued. his eye was pretty much completely shut when he was walking down the aisle after the match.
as for mousasi, i need to see a bit more of him before i make a judgement. his height is a great advantage and it's the reason he was able to get out of that armbar (and not tap initially when takimoto locked it in). he had takimoto's back for a long time and never quite sunk in his rear naked choke.

I thought Mousasi looked pretty good. He's only 20 and looks like he has alot of potential. It's hard to judge how far he will go in Pride. Takimoto is decent but only 2-3 overall. It'll probably be easier to tell in the 2nd round because he will have a much tougher opponent.

I read Takimoto had a broken eye socket, so it was a legit stoppage. It didn't look that bad at 1st, but when they showed him walking back it had already swelled up much worse.
